God,
I come before you, again and again, knowing all too well that You are the only One able to restore my wasted years.
In fact, I believe You have been waiting for me, wanting to restore some things in my life.
For all the ways that things have felt “wasted,” whether by my own choices
OR
by the way life has just “happened,”
You still make good on Your promises.
By Your grace, give me the courage to take ownership of the things I can control…
- give me the humility to accept the areas in my life where I don’t have control…
- give me the stamina to take steps forward and out of the wasteland…
- God, give me guts enough to dream again…
May I walk ever-so-tenderly yet oh-so-boldly into this new place, the land You have called me to posses.
