My dearest Fellow American,

It’s no secret that a lot of us believe that if we just had a certain car or our dream house, then we’d be happy and that’s enough to say we’re living our dream life.

Countless people who have gone before us believed the same thing.

Then, though – when they got those things, they had to confront their deep disappointment, even in the midst of their material possessions. They learned the hard way that, well, the “stuff” isn’t going to cut it… 

Then, instead of spending their money on material possessions they thought they’d feel better is they just started banking up the cash. After a million dollars got tucked away, then they’d surely be living their dream life.
But then they hit that goal and realized, “Dang! That’s not the answer…”

Some of them thought that if they chased the right college degrees, put a bunch of letters and credentials behind their name, then they’d be happy…

I know a lot of overqualified, highly educated…unhappy people.

What gives?

You guys, let’s be honest with ourselves here – we’ve heard the stories over and over about the people who have all the money/stuff/connections/experiences, blah blah blah and they’re STILL miserable.

So, like a good friend let me help you with a priceless piece of advice: 

Skip the wasted years – skip the wasted money – skip the fake relationships – skip the pursuit of experiences just for the sake of having them – or the degrees to try to gain status… 
Save your time – preserve your soul, for crying out loud!

If you cut through the facade and get to the heartbeat of what a real dream life is, what truly matters most to you, it’s not the stuff or money.

If I were a betting girl, I’d put my money on this: 

the life of your dreams is living freely and fully,

right where you are.

And that’s what I’m here for – to be that friend in your corner ~ your favorite crazy cheerleader and straight-talk friend – all for the purpose of inspiring and empowering you to go hard after the things that truly matter to you today, tomorrow, and forever. 

If you’re one of the people who bought the lies about the American Dream and you’re wondering if it’s too late to turn this ship around, it’s not! If you still have breath in your lungs, it’s the right time to live – so let’s get to it!

I have no shame in my game, y’all – I’ll believe in you til the cows come home! 

I’ll be relentless in being vulnerable – in being honest – in having fun along the way – and in calling you out to come with me on this crazy beautiful wild ride of a life that’s authentic to you. 

Here’s the thing though:

I can tell you all the things. 
I can cheer and give you all the research and tell all the stories that support what I’m teaching you.

But I can’t build a life that you love for you.

Everyone likes the idea of a hero coming to save the day, but nobody is coming to do this for you.

They can’t.
This is an inside job.

Only you can do this for you.

The question is:

Will you?
